About the Team The Outside Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. We build deep, hyper-local relationships with the most sought-after SMB restaurants in each region. By sourcing and qualifying new merchants, the Sales Development team drives the top of the funnel for Outside Sales and fuels the growth of partnerships that strengthen restaurant operations, accelerate consumer demand, and improve DoorDash’s bottom line. About the Role We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is energized by high-volume outreach, enjoys uncovering opportunities through conversation, and wants to build a career in sales. In this role, you will own the early stages of the sales process—prospecting, identifying decision makers, qualifying interest, and securing meetings for our field sellers across your assigned region. You’ll engage SMB restaurant owners through high-volume outreach, using thoughtful messaging and targeted tactics to spark interest and qualify opportunities. You’ll manage and track prospects in Salesforce and Google tools to ensure a smooth handoff to the appropriate field seller, with occasional field exposure to deepen your understanding of the full sales cycle.
